A couple of weeks ago I sat down with the President and CEO of Auto Advisory Services (AAS), Rob Cohen, to talk about advertising in the auto industry. One of the main topics we talked about was the Cash For Clunkers program, which ended last week. (We’re putting the interview up on OnAAiR even though the program’s over, because it still includes a lot of information we think you’ll find interesting.) Rob also explains how AAS started as a company and how it keeps auto dealers up-to-speed on the ever-changing advertising laws of California.
Enjoy the interview.

Last week, I got to interview Chris Epting. Chris was my first boss at an advertising agency. This week, I get to interview the owner of that agency. His name is Hal Brice. Hal not only gave me my first full-time position at HEILBrice advertising, but also gave me the chance to switch my position at the agency from art director to agency producer. Hal is very knowledgeable about advertising. It was really great to get the chance to sit down and talk with him on our show. I hope you enjoy it!

Ten years ago, I got my first full-time job as a designer under the management of Chris Epting. I can truly say that without a doubt, Chris was one of the coolest bosses I ever had. Since then, we have both gone on to do other things. I went on to become the producer of OnAAiR and Chris went on to become a writer and has since written 16 books on pop culture. His books have been best sellers and have gotten him national acclaim. Obviously, I am the one who came out on top. This was definitely a cool interview for me. Besides getting to catch up with Chris, it was very cool that while we were doing the interview Chris’s son Charlie was across the room kicking it with my son Maximus talking about dinosaurs. P.S. Chris, you and Charlie owe Max and me a dig!
Hope you enjoy the interview er’body!

Hey, thanks for coming back and checking us out! In this interview I talk to Mike Weisman and Jon Gothold. They are two of the founding members of DGWB Advertising in Orange County. This was a really cool interview because I got to hear how they started their agency and I always enjoy listening how successful companies got their “get on”. I hope you enjoy it and again, feel free to add comments in the comments box like, how awesome you think I am and how awesome I am to watch (anything other than that I’m probably not going to read).
Talk soon,
-M
