Since we are right upon the holidays, we thought an episode about giving back would be appropriate. So this week we sat down with the President of Blue C Advertising, Eric Morley, and the founder of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Wing Lam, to discuss some of the cool things they are doing with orphanages in Baja California.
That wraps it up for this year’s season of OnAAiR! Thanks for watching and feel free to check out our archives. We will be back on Monday January 4th with a fresh episode. Until then, thanks for “clicking play”!
Happy Holidays from all of us at OnAAiR and Post Modern Group!
This week I sat down with the boys from MOB Media. I got to hear how they started their shop from humble beginnings and turned it into successful media company. Enjoy the interview!
In 1997, Jeff Kelley started making sandals out of inner tubes and indoor-outdoor carpet out of his garage. Today Jeff Kelley’s company, Sanük, is a $30 million a year company that pumps out its unique style of footwear all over the world! I got a chance to sit down with Kelley and learn about the ups and downs of starting his own footwear company and some of the decisions, sacrifices and triumphs that came along with it. Sanük sponsors a diverse group of professional athletes ranging from surfers like Donavon Frankenreiter and Dave Rastovich to rock climbers like Chris Sharma and Randy Leavitt. One of the things I took away from this interview was how much passion Jeff has for what he does and how he puts that passion into every design that comes out of the Sanük factory.
(And just in case you’re wondering, “Sanük” is the Thai word for happiness and balance.)
Enjoy, gang!

Tyler provides tips on how to identify “social media experts” who are really just predators out to make a quick buck by exploiting consumers’ lack of knowledge about social media.
Enjoy the episode! I know you’ll take away some valuable information.
What do you get when you mix a marketing guy (who is all about making relationships that stick) with a sick tattoo artist who loves collaborating with artists just as talented as he is? You get Sullen Clothing. The founders of Sullen dropped by this week to share their plans for increasing their brand recognition by starting Sullen TV. See how these guys are totally committed to staying true to their craft, to their fans, and to themselves.
Many people starting out in advertising share a common dream–to start their own agency. John Most is one of the few who have succeeded in realizing this dream. Watch this week’s episode of OnAAiR and see how John began The Most Agency with only a single client and a staff of four. See how he turned his agency into one of the most successful shops in Orange County and how his employees enjoy all-expenses-paid spa days with their families, health care coverage, and working in one of the coolest interior-designed offices in OC. You’ll learn that John’s success comes from listening to his clients, caring about his employees, and, above all, loving what he does!
